Snap 10 -- My Love

Our now "elderly" German Shepherd and I's shadows.

Sisi, our German Shepherd, and I took a walk by the river today. In summers past, I'd love taking her for long walks/jogs by the river in the cool evenings. The view was gorgeous, and she was always a happy companion. Not to mention, there is just something magical about being down by the river on a cool summer evening! Unfortunately, she is now "elderly" and has arthritis pain; on top of that, she's not as fit as she once was and long walks are hard on her.

So today, we went for a very short walk and I thought a picture of the both of us (or our shadows, at least!) would be a fitting 365 picture. I also will be including another after this...just to show off Sisi a bit more. :) She spotted two geese before I did, and they caught her attention. It was only after she saw them that I noticed them; and I took this picture before even realizing the two additional posers!
